Doctor of Chiropractic, Masters in Neuroscience

A little about Dr. Syra:

- She grew up in small town Farmersville, Texas with- you guessed it- horses

- She loves animals, sports, and people

- If food was a love language, that would be hers

- My hobbies include weight lifting, running, paddle boarding, community sports, exploring new restaurants, and live music.

She loves connecting with people and fostering a space to be our most authentic self. She believes the body works together and pain/dysfunction may be due to more than one thing. Her goal is to work with you to discover the root cause/s of the dysfunction and create a personalized plan moving forward to not only reduce pain, but conquer your goals- whatever they may be.

Dr. Syra has a passion for treating people within the fitness community as well as focusing in on pelvic floor dysfunction. She has experience working with the prenatal and postnatal population where she aided in prepping for birth as well as recovery after birthing. This includes rehabilitation of the pelvic floor and diastasis recti.

Dr. Syra attended Parker University, graduating top of her class, her drive to provide comprehensive care to her patients didn't stop at chiropractic medicine. Concurrently, she embarked on a master's program in neuroscience, delving into the intricacies of the brain and its connection to physical performance. This dual pursuit allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of the human body's intricate workings, from the musculoskeletal system to the nervous system, enabling her to offer a unique perspective in her practice.

“I have seen Dr. Hunger for a few years now. He has specifically helped me come back from various marathon training injuries and continues to keep me running injury free. He is very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have about what he is doing and why.”
